Watermelon Eating Contest at the Caboose Stage

Show off your speed-eating skills at the highly anticipated and entertaining watermelon eating contest! All ages are welcome. Sign up for your spot at the information table.

Nylon Zoo Storyteller’s Parade
Saturday & Sunday 1:00pm & 3:00pm
Don a costume and fly like a bird, hop as a frog or rabbit, twirl in a rainbow cape or swim like a fish! Then enter the giant inflatable theatre for fun interactive storytelling with performer Angela Brown. Costumes fit all ages from 2 to 102 and are designed to make you move!
Carnival Games & Carnival Foods
Play classic carnival games and win some fun prizes. Enjoy buttery popcorn and pink cotton candy! For hungry fair goers, Hunky Bill’s will offer a full menu including perogies, pulled pork sandwiches, hot dogs, burgers and more on both days! On Sunday, the Coquitlam Farmer’s Pocket Market will also be featuring fresh produce, artisan breads and lemonade!
Silent Auction
Support the fair and bid on one of the many fantastic and unique silent auction packages donated by local businesses and artists. Packages include a dinner and concert package to Music on the Grill, presented by the Evergreen Cultural Centre, family trips to a Vancouver Canadians baseball game and more! Bidding closes on Sunday at 4pm.
Displays & Demonstrations
Coquitlam Weavers, Dye Pot Club of Coquitlam, Lace Club, Coquitlam Public Library, SPARC Antique Radios, City of Coquitlam Passport Tent, Port Metro Authority, Crossroads Hospice, BC Hydro Outreach Team and more! Tim Hortons Community Cruiser will be on-site handing out free coffee and timbits from 12pm – 2pm on both days!
Place des Arts
